Your Instructor
While completing his medical training and psychiatry residency at Loma Linda University, Dr. Binus became fascinated by the beauty of the mind. He spent many hours studying the emotional, physical, spiritual, and biological factors that influence mental health. This study made him passionate about treating the cause of mental illness, and not just masking the symptoms.
Dr. Daniel Binus believes in whole-person care and recognizes each individual as a unique person with goals, dreams and challenges. His goal is to understand and address the emotional, physical, and spiritual factors that influence each patient’s well being. His private practice, Beautiful Minds Medical, provides outpatient psychiatry and oversees the Intensive Outpatient Program which integrates lifestyle medicine in the program. He is also on the medical staff at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, and a clinical instructor for Loma Linda University.
Dr. Binus founded the non-profit organization Beautiful Minds Wellness to inspire and connect people from every walk of life with cutting edge, whole-person mental health services and education. His desire is that more people would have access to life-long transformative mental health care.
